For my research paper topic, I want to dive into the realm of the water and wastewater sector’s and some of the major man-made and natural threats that could provide devastation to several of the United States territories. Throughout the passage, I would like to discuss not only short-term consequences the United States must prepare for, but also long-term threats that will cause this sector to learn and reevaluate on how they can provide specific services to many of the other sectors in the homeland security enterprise. Whilst some of the documents I have found provide some plans of actions towards these, I want to summarize my thoughts in which plans I feel will be most beneficial for US infrastructure both short-term and long-term. Make sure you use APA style in-text parenthetical citations at the end of every sentence where you are quoting or paraphrasing another’s ideas (or any information) that is not your own thoughts and words, like this (Bergen, 2015, para. 14). Technical Requirements

Your paper must be at a minimum of 10-12 pages. No more than a total of 12 pages for the body of your work (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum limit).
Scholarly and credible references should be used. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 scholarly sources per page of content.
Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space.
Students will follow the current APA Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework.
Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc.
All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.
