Poster presentations at conferences are effective methods of communicating research findings. The discussion of the research being presented is a key element in poster conferences. During professional conferences, poster presenters speak with other psychology professionals providing insights into the information offered within the poster as well as explaining key elements of the research findings. For this week’s discussion, you will be submitting a link to your Folio account where your colleagues will find your poster presentation along with a brief detailed explanation of the materials included in it. Poster presentations are typically informal affairs with limited time for presenters to provide extra information. In keeping with this, your explanations of the materials will be limited to specific parameters. To explain the research presented in your poster, you will be creating a 3- to 5-minute screencast video. You may use any screencast software to create this video. (For further assistance with specific free-use screencast software please see the Quick-Start Guide for Screencast-O-MaticLinks to an external site.) Within the screencast video, you will create a voice over that will point out unusual, unique, and important aspects of the research presented in the poster. Be certain to visually indicate the specific sections or headers where the elements are located to guide your viewers through the materials. The link to the screencast will be attached to the poster page within your Folio project so that your colleagues may interact with your insights into the materials.

Include the link to your Folio project with your completed poster and screencast link in your initial post prior to Day 3.

Note to Students: This assignment requires that you produce a visual presentation, supply a spoken audio narrative, and to listen the audio narrative of others.  Note you are also asked to provide a transcript of your presentation.  If you have a documented disability accommodation that might interfere with your ability to complete this assignment you may contact your instructor to develop a comparable alternative assignment. 

Provide a Bibliography of your course project. (25 points)

The Bibliography should have 12-15 references minimum supporting your research. The expectation is that you will use the APA to produce the Bibliography for format.  Please include a cover sheet with your full name, the case name, our course number (NETW583), and the date you submit. Follow the steps below to produce your Bibliography. Also reference the rubrics for this deliverable. 

Creating an APA Bibliography
A bibliography is similar in many ways to a reference section, but there are some important differences. While a reference section includes every source that was actually used in your paper,  a bibliography may include sources that you considered using but may have dismissed because they were irrelevant or outdated.

Bibliographies can be a great way to keep track of information you might want to use in your paper and as a way to organize and keep track of the information that you find in different sources. In order to write an APA format bibliography, here are four steps you should take.

1. Start on a New Page
Your working bibliography should be kept separate from the rest of your paper. Start it on a new page, with the title “Bibliography” centered at the top.

2. Gather Your Sources
Compile all the sources you might possibly use in your paper. While you may end up not using all of these sources in your paper, having a complete list will make it easier later on when you prepare your reference section.  This can be particularly helpful as you outline and write your paper. By quickly glancing through your working bibliography, you will be able to get a better idea of which sources will be the most appropriate to support your thesis and main points.

3. Reference for Each Source
Your references should be listed alphabetically by the author’s last name and should be double-spaced. The first line of each reference should be flush left, while each additional line of the reference should be a few spaces to the right of the left margin, which is known as a hanging indent.

4. Create an Annotation for Each Source
Normally a bibliography contains only references’ information, but in some cases, you might decide to create an annotated bibliography. An annotation is a summary or evaluation of the source.  An annotation is a brief description of approximately 150 words describing the information in the research, your evaluation of its credibility, and how it pertains to your topic.2 Writing one of these for each piece of research will make your writing process faster and easier.  Not only is this step helpful in determining which sources to ultimately use in your paper, but also your instructor may require it as part of the assignment so they can assess your thought process and understanding of your topic.

The Final Project that was assigned in Week 1 is due this week.

Management thought leaders regularly consider the future of the field. They think broadly about what the future of management could look like, how management could be applied, and implications of future scenarios. For the Final Project you practice being a management thought leader: write a position paper on how the future of management may unfold and how this might impact social change.

You are expected to find at least 4–5 articles to support your position. The articles you select must be from peer-reviewed resources and have been published within the past 5 years. APA format.

The Assignment (7–10 pages):

Explain how you believe the future of management may unfold.

Explain how this possible scenario could impact social change.

Reference the articles you found to support your position.

Directions:

In this discussion, you’ll describe a patient with a mood disorder and the appropriate nursing interventions. Please answer the following questions in your initial posting:

Describe a client from your clinical setting or previous experience who experienced depression or mania. Include a brief history and 3-5 most pertinent medications.

• Identify one problem that was not resolved with the treatment regimen. What are the reasons it may not have been successful? Include nursing as well as other team members.
• Identify one effective nursing intervention and why you feel it worked.
• Overall, do you feel this client was kept safe? Why or why not?
• Please provide supporting evidence for your answers.

Respond to at least to two other classmates and explain if you agree or disagree with how they would handle a client who was having those symptoms. If you do not agree, please provide how they could have approached the client differently.
